Hi, I’m Dani

I believe therapy works best when you feel genuinely understood, not judged or rushed.

People often tell me they feel at ease with me quickly — that it feels natural to talk, and that they don’t have to carefully filter what they say. I take time to really get to know you, listen for what’s underneath the surface, and support you in making sense of your experiences at your own pace.

My role isn’t to tell you who to be or what to do, but to help you understand yourself more clearly, challenge the beliefs that hold you back, and build confidence in a way that feels authentic to you.

LET'S WORK TOGETHER

Get to know me

I’ve been working in mental health for over 10 years now. My journey started as a support worker in a mental health hospital, which led me to study Mental Health Nursing at university. After qualifying, I spent several years working as a mental health nurse, supporting people through a range of emotional and psychological challenges.

I’m incredibly proud of the work I did back then, and of the work that mental health nurses continue to do every day. But for me personally, I often felt like something was missing — like I could be doing more to help people create real, lasting change. A lot of the time, it felt like I was putting a plaster on a wound, but not really helping it heal. That feeling is what eventually led me to specialise in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT).

Now, as a BABCP-accredited CBT therapist, I get to work alongside people to get to the root of what's holding them back and help them build genuine confidence and self-esteem.

My Approach

Compassionate

I genuinely care about my clients and want you to succeed. I won’t just be your therapist — I’ll be one of your biggest cheerleaders. I understand how difficult and painful these struggles can feel, and I’ll be with you every step of the way as we work through them together.

Non-judgemental

Many people worry about speaking openly, but you can feel safe knowing that this space is entirely without judgement. My work is trauma-informed, inclusive, and neurodiversity-affirming. I am LGBTQ+ allied, kink allied, and a sex-positive therapist.

Friendly

Therapy works best when you feel comfortable, relaxed, and safe to open up. While our work is professional, I aim to create a space that feels natural — like talking to a trusted friend — even when we’re tackling some of life’s hardest topics.

Determined

I want to help you get to the root of the problem and create real, lasting change. Our sessions will be focused, practical, and collaborative — combining both talking and active strategies to help you move forward with confidence.

Are you ready to take back control of your life?

If you’re ready to start feeling more confident, balanced, and in control, I’d love to support you.
